In this clip, E-Asylum’s Cyndee San Luis asks, “Who’s your favorite superhero?”
Snyder answers, “I guess Superman is my favorite superhero, strangely. You’re not supposed to say that. It’s not cool to say, but he is.”
Cyndee echos, “It’s not cool to say.”
Snyder clarifies, “Ah just ’cause you’re doing it. It’s weird.”

While combing through hours of interviews for Man of Steel Answers Insight Commentary (MOSAIC), I’ve quickly put together some of Snyder’s comments which would tend to dispel or address those fears.
BvS is not a DKR adaptation. It’s a film that will develop Superman to the point that we can get to a Justice League. After carefully cultivating a realistic tone for us to relate to Superman, Snyder isn’t going to betray that for Batman. Snyder holds Superman in too high regard for that.

Due to happy and exciting family news and the past four days of New York Comic Con, I’ve been out of the loop. However, my comic con photos should be going up sometime this week. I’ve quickly thrown together a Versus page for YouTube content addressing the topic before I get in on the action. New episodes of the MOSAIC show will start recording soon again, so I’ll be addressing the feedback, questions, comments, and promos in the next few weeks.
Lastly, I actually have received letters and feedback from two different individuals who mistook the intention of the website / podcast as trying to address questions as the Man of Steel, in character. While not my original intention, it might be fun to do that once in a while so that may become a new feature or podcast segment.
In the on-going social media back-n-forth between Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder and Star Wars Episode VII director J.J. Abrams, the above video was just posted. I absolutely love that these filmmakers are wearing their mutual admiration on their sleeve.
