Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
Really loved the comparisons here. Every episode blows me away in terms of the subjects touched on, but this one seemed especially useful for me.
Also unrelated by please try get yourself on an episode of the @BvsByTheMinute podcast if possible.
Also I would really like to hear your thoughts on WW84 and it’s film score.
Thank you for the kind comment! I apologize for missing it when it was published, when I started using an app to publish episodes, I failed to check website. Yes, ByTheMinute is doing good work!
I have an unaired recording for WW84, working title “Monkey’s Paw”…
Thanks for listening!
Man this was such a pretty nice comparison. Love how Wally practically becomes a Ghost quite like he described.
Darnit .. More people should see this channel….
♠ However for a moment I thought Doomsday was going to be The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. Sure The Flash fits that mold too. he literally shows the future .. but I also liked the idea of Doomsday bc with the horror he causes he also ends showing glimpses of a Knightmare, the earth on Fire and with a monster kriptonian threatning the entire world … which was one of Batman’s worst fears. (also that Doomsday doesnt talk) (xD) (but maybe this is too much of a stretch?)
However still very great episode. ♥
Hope you had some nice holydays, and more awesome adventures come your way Doc. U cool.
Thanks for commenting (see my poor excuse late reply above!)
Doomsday is definitely a better emotional fit and harbinger of death. I stuck with Flash because I like the ultimate idea that all the spirits are his allies and want his reform, which isn’t exactly Doomsday’s goal (and literally is Flash’s- he wants Bruce to change to avoid his future fate!).
The great thing about literary and thematic analysis is you can take it wherever you want so long as you are getting something out of it and can support that.
I hope you had great holidays too!
