Today is V-Day for a hope long held… a battle long fought.
Rarely do we see persistence pay off for dreamers against the system, common sense, and naysayers. So this is a miracle. The planets aligned. Providence smiling. Time to rejoice!
Yet it is impossible to maintain our present elation. And with victory it is easy to become accustomed, take for granted, and let this sense of the miraculous slip away. And while the outcome is assured, it’s all too easy to stumble before the finish line. To forget the miracle and this feeling.
Five twenty.

Doc, I will indeed remember the feeling of such a glorious day on May 2020 (520). I watched the “MAN OF STEEL watch party” with Zack and Deborah Snyder. It was very nice when Henry Cavill showed up and participated in the streaming event. Furthermore, the biggest take-away from the watch party was when Zack Snyder announced that his cut of “The Justice League” will premiere on HBO MAX in 2021.
It was such a great feeling because many fans fought hard and truly kept believing in this to happen. To quote General Zod from Superman II, “….And now…..Finally….” we will get to see the Snyder Cut of “The Justice League.” The great thing about it is that he will be given money to finish things up and reshoot where he deems necessary.
I don’t want to ramble on, so I’ll stop here. Good day to you Doc!
Yeah, it was a pleasure to enjoy the watch party, a thrill when Henry showed up, and pandemonium when zack made the announcement in his low key way. Even better knowing how long everyone had been hoping and working for it, so truly something shared world-wide, a sincere, “You are not alone!” feeling. I’m glad you stuck it out and will be with us and beyond!
congratulations to all!!. Its nice to see a new post on this page after long time. I have a request, I wanted to hear your thoughts on the movie “Joker”, if you are interested to talk about it ofcourse :).
Thanks Amit, I’ve got a lot of thoughts, but the episode around Joker wasn’t up-to-scratch (the science part was based only on two studies and one book, I haven’t had time to double-check sources or cross reference) and was mostly about movements, which is a little abrogated by recent events (certain protests subsided due to the disease; and another movement achieved its main victory!). So it would have to be heavily reworked to make sense for today. I may get to it eventually.
This took faster than expected. Alien 3 and Superman 2 took much longer but Kingdom of Heaven got there almost immediatly. CapeKINO is back on the menu and I bothered to advertise and explain the cut on a few sites. Now we wait and make sure that the release is a success.
